Speaker 1: Michael Chang, CEO and Founder
Michael is responsible for Greystripe's market vision and execution. He was most recently at Incubic Venture Capital and was responsible for investments in Internet and software companies. It was at Incubic that Michael and Andy conceived of the ad-supported mobile business model. Michael has an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and has held engineering and marketing product management roles at SAN pioneer Gadzoox Networks. Michael has a BS in EE from Carnegie Mellon University.
Abstract:
Using data from Greystripe’s recently released Consumer Insights Report (https://www.greystrip...f) Michael Chang will discuss who the iPhone App user is and how they’re interacting with applications. As the leading rich media mobile advertising network, Greystripe is committed to providing ongoing data to the mobile industry about users of free mobile content. Greystripe closely monitors their iPhone user base and studies how they interact with the applications in the Greystripe network in order to provide this data. Michael will share demographic information such as age, gender, income and education level as well as engagement metrics including minutes per use and uses per users.
Speaker 2: Dan Butterfield
Dan is the Managing Editor of iPhonAsia - a website covering iPhone with particular emphasis in China, Japan and Korea. Over the course of his career, Dan has held senior management positions in the securities industry and was responsible for development of Web 2.0 applications sold through national sales channels. Dan is a subject matter expert on the mobile telecom industry in China and is familiar with political and cultural aspects of doing business in Asia. Dan has written numerous articles on mobile telecom in the Pacific Rim and developed friendships with expats, journalists, telecom analysts and app developers across Asia.
